HOW CAN YOU HIRE FOREIGN WORKERS?
The Turkish employer must register the foreign national with the SSI within at most 30 days starting from the start date of work permit validity if the work permit application is made within Turkey (i.e. as allowed for foreign nationals who have already been granted residence permits valid for at least six months – for any reason, except education) and within at most 30 days as of the date the foreign national enters Turkey with the work visa, if the work permit application is made from abroad (i.e. by visiting the consulate/embassy in their national country or legal residence). A petition must also be submitted to the Ministry within 15 days as of the date on which the employee has been registered with the SSI.

- Passport or a valid replacement document;
- 1 Biometric photo;
- An employment contract or contract for services.
- An application to hire foreign workers is submitted to the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
