HOW CAN YOU HIRE FOREIGN WORKERS?
Before an employer considers hiring a foreign worker in Poland he/she must conduct a labour market test and get a confirmation that the local labour force can not meet the employment needs, only then the government can approve a work permit for a foreign worker.
After receiving an approval from the government, the employer must submit to the District Labour Office, a statement to employ a foreign national without any restrictions.
the foreign worker is authorized to work in Poland for 6 to 12 months and after a year he/she must apply for a temporary residence and work permit or full time work permit.

Poland has 5 different types of work permits for foreign workers:
- Type- A: the foreign worker will receive a type- A work permit only if he/she is recruited by a Polish employer within the territories of Poland
- Type- B: foreign worker under this work permit can work in Poland for 6 to 12 months
- Type-C: the foreign workers that receive this work permit are the ones who are working for a non-polish employer
- Type- D: foreign worker who are under this type of work permit are executing a temporary service
